Mead Tasting 12pm (Sold Out)

Mead is a fabled drink, thought to be the world's oldest alcoholic beverage. Made from pure, naturally fermented ingredients, there is a variety of styles to suit every palate. Join us for a diverse mead tasting led by wine expert Sara Coleman. Tasting includes three meads from Talkeetna-based Alaska Meadery: the Razzery, infused with a blend of raspberries, sour cherries, and apples; the Belgique, crafted with coriander and bitter orange peel; and the Northern Pearl, a big and bold expression with black currant and sangiovese grapes, aged in French oak barrels. In addition, there will be two meads from Denmark's Dansk Mjød: the Odin's Skull, made with tart apple juice and cinnamon, and the Viking Blod, with hibiscus and ginger.
We are incredibly grateful to Specialty Imports for graciously donating the bottles for this event; should you find a new favorite, bottle pre-orders and sales will be conveniently facilitated through College Wine & Liquor in Fairbanks.

Must be 21+ to attend, ID will be Checked at Door. Must Present Physical ID.
